A young Navy man in Illinois is missing after he was last seen getting kicked out of a bar over the weekend, according to a report.
Séamus Gray, 21, who is stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes, was last spotted leaving Ibiza nightclub in Waukegan around 1:35 a.m. Saturday, NBC 5 reported.
Surveillance video from outside the club appears to show Gray interacting with two other people, NBC Chicago explained, but the footage is unclear.
“Our investigators are working with NCIS to help identify people who might be on that video,” Deputy Chief Brian Mullen told reporters Thursday.
Ibiza manager Adrian Hernandez said Gray was escorted out of the club for being too drunk and getting into at least two altercations.
“We just want him to be found … we just want to cooperate in any way we can. We’re doing everything we can to cooperate with the police investigation with the family,” Hernandez said at a press conference Wednesday.
Gray’s absence was noted when he failed to report back to his base as scheduled at 2 a.m. Saturday, but his family and the police were not notified of his disappearance until Tuesday, according to NBC 5.
On Thursday, the official search reportedly focused on the nearby lakefront both on land and via the air.
“I’m here, I’m going through dumpsters looking for my son,” Gray’s mother, Kelly Rodier Gray, told NBC 5.
The worried mother told reporters at a press conference that her son lives for “his family, God and his country.”
“He came here to fight for his country, and now he’s missing,” she continued, begging anyone with information to “please come forward.”
Authorities described Gray as 6 feet 3 and 170 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and multiple tattoos on his left arm and a cursive tattoo on his rib cage.
