French marine scientist and engineer Paul-Henri Nargeolet has been in charge of multiple missions to the Titanic’s remains.
He is also well-known for helping to save relics from the sinking ship for future generations by helping to rescue and preserve them.
Nargeolet took part in several Titanic excavation expeditions, including those that were directed in the 1980s by the Franco-American team of Jean-Louis Michel and Robert Ballard.
More than 35 dives have been made at the Titanic crash site by Paul-Henri Nargeolet. In 2022, Nargeolet and his crew found a brand-new basalt formation close to the Titanic that was home to a remarkably varied and one-of-a-kind ecology.

American broadcast journalist Michele Marsh rose to fame while employed by two television networks in New York City from 1979 until 2003.
On March 9, 1954, Michele Marsh was born in a Detroit suburb. She earned a degree in radio and television production from Northwestern University.
She began her career at a Maine television station, where while on the air, she used her toes to control the teleprompter. Later, she relocated to San Antonio and rose to fame.
Marsh began working as an anchor and correspondent for WCBS-TV in New York City in 1979. She was a member of a group of women who, by 1980, had risen to the position of anchor at each of the city’s five late-night newscasts.
Marsh worked as an anchor and correspondent for WCBS for 17 years. She was fired in 1996 as part of a station restructuring, although she quickly joined WNBC as Chuck Scarborough’s co-anchor.
She did, however, leave WNBC in 2003 after losing her anchor job. Marsh tragically passed away on October 17, 2017, at the age of 63, as a result of breast cancer complications.
